Mafia Wars

Help! I think I am addicted to Mafia Wars on Facebook. Good bye Restaurant City! Good bye Farm Town!

I used to play Mobsters on Myspace. Got addicted and mastered the game. Got more than $3B bounty at level 17. Just when my addiction to Mobsters is starting to fade, out of curiosity I finally joined Mafia Wars after getting more than 10 invites a day. Now, I REGRET IT!

I’m absolutely and completely addicted to it! I can’t stop playing! I need help!

Must play… must get more energy… must attack… must kill more…

If you find yourself with nothing to do, play Mafia Wars! Do jobs, beat some people, buy some stuff! It’s mostly a time waster but a great stress reliever. You can vent your anger and frustration into the game. Ciao for now! Need to check my Mafia properties!

Oh, by the way I am level 91 now, have more than 600 Mafia family and my Mafia name is Cherry the Great!

Chris Daughtry is very talented, has a great voice. I think he sings it much better than Lady Gaga does but it is a weird song. lol maybe he was just having fun with it. Awesome!

The American pop group The Pussycat Dolls once again invaded Manila as they performed their hits at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. PCD had their first concert in Manila at the Big Dome last July 28, 2006.

Nicole Scherzinger has an awesome voice. She dominated the stage with her charismatic presense. The other dolls Kimberly Wyatt, Melody Thornton and Ashley Roberts certainly know how to “shake their booty” which they did with gusto! Haha! Unfortunately, Jessica Sutta was not able to join the group because of an injury.

Amazing crowd, singing along to every song they know and screaming and dancing to the Dolls’ hit songs like “Jai-Ho and When I Grow Up”.

After the show we went straight to the parking lot and took some pics. Guess what?! We saw Chico and Delamar! Yay! Thank you so much for the two Silver Tickets! I love you Chix and Delle!

Fantastic concert! I loved every minute of it! Too bad it finished so fast. If I were to rate it I’d give it 10/10 not only because the whole concert was awesome but because it was my first time to watch a concert with my G-Crew barkada.

It’s been 4 days and my PCD-hype is still not over yet! I keep watching their videos on youtube. I even want to be a Pussycat Doll! I better start attending Gelli’s Body Jam class soon! LOL!

BUT to dance with my friends and have so much fun is what matters to me now. I am not going to say that in two days I have learned how to dance but I’ve gained a lot of confidence and finally convinced myself that I should dance and attend Gelli’s class.. I will remain optimistic about this whole Body Jam thing until I can actually dance in public. Go girl!

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend Gelli’s class. Not feeling well today. Have a slight fever when I woke up. I felt so bad because I really don’t want to disappoint Gelli. I didn’t know we were scheduled to take flu shots yesterday. The shot made my left arm completely numb. Had a terrible headache, too, and now suffering from runny nose! How cool is that?!

Went to RX today to get some pictures from Delle, claim my PCD tickets and to say sorry to Gelli. As expected she didn’t believe me and made me feel so guilty for not attending Body Jam. Sorry Gelli!

First of all, I don’t know how to dance. I have two left feet like the penguin from the movie Happy Feet. I can’t dance without either knocking someone down or stepping on someone’s toes. No sense of timing, no grace at all. If you know what uncoordinated means, that would be me. If there is such a thing as worse than “lampa”, again that would be me. In short, I am hopeless.

Physical activities are not my forte and that’s the reason why I am not good with sports. I would rather stay in my room and be in front of the computer for hours. Fine, I admit I like to dance in the privacy of my own room and bathroom! LOL!

So, why in the world would I attend a Body Jam class and risk a serious public embarrassment? Don’t ask me! I don’t even know what Body Jam means! All I know is I love Gelli and I can’t say NO to her and I want to have fun with the G-Crew!

If I come out of Gelli’s class without knocking out or injuring someone, that’s good. If I come out without embarrasing myself and my G-Crew barkada, that’s a major accomplishment.

It all started on Twitter. We officially met on Twitter, became good friends on Twitter and grew on Twitter. I remember I was just a regular listener and tweetquester on Jude and Gelli’s show The Ride. I am a self confessed Twitter addict, I tweet everyday and baditz, who is also a Rusher, is one of my tweetmates. Everyday from Monday to Friday eversince The Ride started accepting tweetquests, baditz and I never fail to tweet our requests. DJ Gelli who is always in charge with the tweets is very accommodating and tweets back as much as she can. Then, I met Joanna who is one of Gelli’s loyal listeners. We became good friends on Twitter. After a few days of exchanging tweets with @joannasas and @baditz17 and of course @rxtheride, we finally decided to go to RX on May 17, 2009. I’ve been a loyal listener of RX since 1996 and that was the FIRST TIME ever that I went to the RX studios on a Sunday and without Chico and Delamar! I was excited at the same time VERY nervous because I am not really close to Gelli that time, she only recently found out that I’m @cherrythegreat. I waited for Joanna and baditz at the parking lot, too shy and afraid to go to the station alone. Joanna was late so baditz and I had to wait for her. Finally after 10 years of waiting, Joanna arrived. Hehe.

So who is Gelli? Gelli is the very gorgeous, very nice and very accommodating  DJ at Monster Radio RX 93.1. Together with Jude Rocha, they host The Ride and every Sunday she does Hip 26. And that’s where it all started for the new “G-Crew”.  Look at her pic, isn’t she gorgeous, hot and sexy?

Gorgeous Gelli

We got to hang out with Gelli after her show Hip 26. She treated all three of us to lunch at El Pollo Loco in Megamall. It was superb! After lunch, we went to Globe to pay her bill then to Sun to inquire and subscribe to their Wireless Broadband which according to Gelli is TOTALLY useless. No signal in Makati! How annoying is that?! Duh, the only reason why we begged and harassed Gelli to get an internet connection is so she can sign up and set up her own Twitter account, and of course to visit The Morning Rush Forum. Darn, Sun! Do something with Gelli’s signal! Aaargh!  >:)

This became a regular thing. Next Sunday visit to the station, we met Jamine, Aimee and her dad. Lunch together, watched movies, played at Timezone… fun fun fun!

To make the story short, we all became good friends because of our love and admiration for our “barkada” Gelli Victor.
